Latest Updates from Our Project:

Surveys will be sent using Backerkit + Stamp seal colors
over 3 years ago – Tue, Oct 06, 2020 at 12:07:35 AM

Hey everyone, this is just a small update.

The backer surveys will now be sent using backerkit. This will make for a much smoother survey and will allow add-ons seamlessly for anyone who wants them. They can be expected later this week.

For any backers that were dropped from their pledge, you will still have the oportunity to pre-order through BackerKit.

You will not need a BackerKit account to answer your survey. Just use the link provided in the email and it will take you through the steps.

If you have already added add-ons during the campaign, it will show you have "credit" on the survey. You just select the items you wanted to add-on and it will deduct from the credit. It should be a very smooth process.

If you added-on rare decks, they will be manually added to your order, so if it does show you have "credit", just ignore that so that you will receive your rare decks.

Stamp seals have been finalized for all decks. Here is a picture of what they will look like.

Thank you all. I will update you again soon on the project progress. Keep an eye out for the backerkit survey.

🦋 Campaign ended, What's next? 🦋
over 3 years ago – Thu, Sep 24, 2020 at 02:22:35 PM

We made it. One month ago, I launched this project with the hopes of it being funded. With the help of all 449 of you, we made that a reality. I can't even begin to express my gratitude. I'm so excited to get these decks in hand and out to all of you. Over the next month, I will be overseeing the process and making sure that everything is moving along smoothly. So, whats next?

First, you will receive an email notifying you about this project being a success. At this point, Kickstarter will be processing your payment. Kickstarter gives you 7 days to fix any issues with your payment. After that, you will be dropped and will not receive your pledge.

BACKER SURVEY & ADD-ONS

After funds have cleared, I will be sending out a Backer Survey. It will ask you about your shipping address and give you the opportunity to update any information that may have changed. This is to make sure that your order arrives properly and without any issues. In this same form, on the bottom, there will be a question that reads, "Did you add any add-ons? If so, list them below." Here, you can type in your add-ons. *This is very important if you added anything.* Other than messaging me and me being able to see that you upped your pledge, there is no way for me to know what you added on. Please make sure to add it there so that you receive the correct order. Please list what you added on in a format similar to the following example: "2x deluxe deck." Just "AMOUNT x ITEM ADDED" for each different item you added on.

PRODUCTION

While production hasn't started yet, everything is in line at Clove St and USPCC to be produced. Tuck boxes should be hitting the press in October and the cards should be printed in that same time frame. As production starts and pieces start coming to life, I will provide updates and pictures.

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to send me a message and I will do my best to answer. Thank you all again so so much! YOU ALL made this happen!

Rare Edition Add-ons ALL HAVE BEEN CLAIMED
over 3 years ago – Tue, Sep 22, 2020 at 10:23:18 AM

Good afternoon everyone.

I have decided to put 12 rare editions (6 of each) up as add-ons as an "end of campaign" special.

They will be first come first serve. You will be allowed ONE (1) green or burgundy edition ($20) or ONE OF EACH (2) ($40) but no more. So two is the max you can add-on.

If you would like to add them on, comment on this update and, if they are still available, I will let you know. Once I give the go ahead, THEN you can update your pledge amount to reflect the add on/s. Do not update your pledge before I tell you if they are still available or not.

I will comment on this post saying they are gone once they are.

ALL RARE EDITIONS HAVE BEEN CLAIMED

The Rare editions will come with a numbered stamp that is colored specifically for the Rare editions. They are numbered out of 65.

Thanks and good luck!

Thank you and some exciting updates
over 3 years ago – Mon, Sep 21, 2020 at 11:19:07 AM

Good afternoon everyone.

We are now in the final days of the KS campaign and I just wanted to say thank you and give a couple updates.

THANK YOU

So, first off, thank you all so so much. I have received the most amazing response and I am still just so blown away by it. My first personal deck of cards and I got over 400 backers! That is truly incredible and I cannot thank you all enough.

RARE EDITIONS

I have had a lot of questions about the Rare Editions. Currently, only a very small amount of them were sold through this KS campaign. The rest will be put up in my shop randomly (It will be a few at a time and an email will be sent to backers to notify them). Some will also be used as give-aways on my instagram

Originally, they were only going to be 50 of each made, but I am going to up that number to 65 of each. This way, more people will have a chance at getting them while still keeping them very exclusive.

UPDATES

I have a few updates I wanted to share with you all.

  • The tuck boxes are in line at  Clove St. Press and set to be printed in October. I don't have an exact date yet, but they are in the queue.
  • I have received a hard proof from USPCC of the cards and they look beautiful! There was a small mistake (flower patter in the upper right 4th was filled in) but it was caught and corrected before production. Below you can see the proof-

  • As I'm sure most of you have noticed, I don't think any stretch goals will be met. With that being said, I have decided to make, and add, the FREE ACE OF SPADES STICKER for all backers anyway because everyone has been so awesome.
  • I have decided to create a numbered version of the stamp seal for the limited edition decks. In addition, the different versions of the decks will also feature different colored stamp seals.

ADDITIONAL NEWS

My friend Fabien Barral, also known as Mr. Cup, launched his KS for his annual Letterpress calendar a couple days ago. Each page features an inspirational quote done by a different artist. This year has some really amazing artists and I am honored to be included among them. Below is a picture of the cover in two amazing editions, as well as a preview of my design.

Thank you all again, so so much. Your support means the world to me and this project would have never been more than just an idea without you.

🎉🦋 WE DID IT!!! 🦋🎉 100% funded and still climbing!
over 3 years ago – Sun, Sep 13, 2020 at 05:51:04 AM

Thank you all so much for making this dream a reality.

I am honestly speechless. When I started pricing everything out for this project, it all started adding up so quickly. The end numbers where a lot higher than I had expected, which started to get me worried— especially when looking at other playing card projects goals on kickstarter. I was unsure if the goal could be met, but I didn’t want to sacrifice quality. If I was going to do it, I was going to do it right.

From day one, there was a ton of support. I got so many nice comments and words of encouragement. Over the last few days, as we got closer and closer, I knew it was actually going to happen. But seeing it now, at 100% funded, is a bit surreal. This project has been in the works for such a long time, there was a point where I thought it may never come to fruition. Now seeing it, not only finished, but also FUNDED, I really am just at a loss for words.

Thank you all so so much for helping to bring this project to life. With out you all, this deck of cards would most likely never have see the light of day. I already have so many ideas for my next decks and I can’t wait to get them going and bring them to life for you all.

You guys are so awesome. I hope you all are as excited as I am to get these printed and see them in real life.
